DEOLU AKINYEMI @deoluakinyemi was our 1st speaker on the April edition of #AARTalk. He shared on " PERSONAL VISION".
Our guest speaker shared on the need for us to have a vision for our lives so as to become focus in life so that the world will give way to us. He also lay emphasis on the need for us to capture the picture of our future irrespective of what life throws at us. It was really an eye-opening session. Have a good read here.......Enjoy!

The greatest disease in the world is HIV – Having Insufficient Vision
If you are not clear about where you are going, how can you recognize it when you get there?
One great tragedy of life is that many engage in activity without productivity because there is no clarity about the end goal.
Understand that no wind blows in favour of a ship without set sails. You set your sails, God sends the wind. Are your sails set?
But in order to make it to where you want to be, you need to know where you are. Whare are you?
"Where are you now?" How can you get to where you are going if you are not clear about where you are?
Clarity about your purpose qualifies you for help. Clarity about where you are now, is the first in the right direction.
Anyone is qualified to suggest to you when you are not clear about where you are & where you are going
The world gives way to those who know where they are going.
The bible says "the eyes of the fool are at the ends of the earth..."; if you are wise, what are you doing now?
Whatever you focus on grows. A man that starts where he is with what he has is a man of great vision.
Never wait until you become before you take action. If you don't take action and start, you will never become.
Once you are clear about where you want to go, the vision has within it a force that makes it come to pass.
Once your mind captures the pic of your future, everything around is designed to support your journey to your foreseen destination.
With time, your dreams will be refined, and as you get closer and it gets clearer.
When your vision is documented, it carries the speed of performance.
Nothing about where you are going is as great as where you are coming from. Operate from the beginning with the end in mind.
It is our consent to what happens to us that hurts us far more than what happens to us in the first place.
As Eleanor Roosevelt said "no one can hurt you without your consent"
Our situations in life is a result of our decision, not our condition.
All things are created twice, a mental creation and then a physical creation. Same with our lives.
Your future is not permitted to take you by surprise.
The realisation that you can elevate your life by conscious endeavor is one of the greatest discoveries a man can make.
People with all the potential in the world to succeed perish for a lack of vision.
You cannot expect to have practical success if all your potential for success is not directed towards a vivid end. #vision
Life in and of itself offers no excitement without a vision. Vision says, before I begin, I want to clarify where I will end up.
Vision is simply a picture of your preferred future. Vision helps to generate the right energy & focus it in a specific direction.
