Good evening ladies and gentlemen. I count it a great honor to be able to share with you on this platform.

I would like to begin with this quote from one of my mentors:
We all have our share of life's painful experiences. But we should not allow experiences of the past push us to the edge…
…Some people sit at the edge and wonder why things are not working…
There's notin wrong in makin reflections of ur errors of the past. Bt let ur reflectns be for ur learning.. 1/2
...and not to build a sense of guilt..2/2
Guilt comes from living in the past. U can't be guilty about things that you're going to do; guilt is about things in the past.
Guilt is a major tool the devil uses against man; he would paint a picture of your past error in your mind.
And the moment you begin to meditate on these past errors/experiences, he has succeeded in immobilizing you.
People who live in the past never see the future, Don't blame yourself for your errors or mistakes –
EVERYTHING THAT TRANSPIRED IN THE PAST IS OVER. AND IF THEY ARE REALLY OVER, FEELING GUILTY CANNOT CHANGE WHAT IS OVER.
GUILT WILL NEVER CHANGE THE PAST! GUILT IS A USELESS EMOTION; IT KEEPS YOU FROM DOING SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR FUTURE.
WORRYING ABOUT THINGS YOU HAVE NO CONTROL OVER MAKES NO SENSE; AND IF YOU HAVE CONTROL OVER THEM, TAKE CONTROL!
Our experiences in life, positive or negative, are all a pathway to our lives purpose.
Ask yourself, why did God appear 2 Moses in a burning bush? Moses was a shepherd and was used to the sight of burning bushes.
When God wanted to get his attention he used what he was “used” to to work out something supernatural.
Secondly: Have u ever wondered why God instructed d children of Israel to shout after going round the wall of Jericho 7 times?
Shouting is the only way to communicate in a crowd of about 3million people. Mooseees! We want food, Moosees!! We want water.
They were used to it…experience! Having to shout every time they needed something was not a pleasant experience.
But when God would deliver Jericho into their hands He used their experience of shouting to work out the miracle.
The experience of shouting in the wilderness was a WRAPPING SHEET!
So permit me to call whatever ugly/negative experiences you had A WRAPPING SHEET.
You cannot tell how beautiful or priceless a gift is until you take off the wrapping sheet.
The enemy meant that experience 4 ur destruction bt it’s only a WRAPPING SHEET. D treasure in u is waiting to be unleased.
Remember Rom 8:16 all things work together for good to them that love God…Ask yourself : Do I love God?
The interesting thing about this scripture and indeed all scriptures is that until you believe it, it would not work for you.
So believe that whatever has happened to you would work out for your good. Why? Because God said so. Nothing more.
Luke 21:33...and it shall turn to you for a testimony.
One scripture that will help you is Jer 31:3: I have never quit loving you, expect love, love and more love.
Never be in doubt of the love of God for you. God loved Job and even bragged about him, yet God allowed him to be challenged.
If u have not spoken out about your experience u need to talk to someone about it. That’s the 1st step in your healing process.
Then surrender/rededicate your life to Jesus. He is the only one that can give you lasting peace.
Very importantly you need to forgive your offenders. Whoever it is that abused or assaulted you. You MUST forgive that person.
Ask God for grace to forgive. Your healing process CANNOT be complete until you forgive.
After that sad experience, d best way to take control of your life is to begin to function in your purpose/area of calling/passion.
There are several ways to discover your lives purpose. Ask God in prayers, read books on the subject, talk to a pastor…
It’s amazing the kind of energy that flows through you when you are fulfilling purpose...
You find the will, enthusiasm and creativity to face any challenge that comes your way.
At my little level, I keep a very dangerous schedule…everyone that is close to me attests to that.
Sometimes even on my way to an event I feel so exhausted and I am wondering how I am going to deliver at this event.
But soon as I grab the microphone…energy surges through me. The simple reason is because I am operating in my area of passion.
:I also translate the bible in pidgin English every Sunday by 6:30 pm and I call it #Waffibible.
After a very busy weekend, which usually is d case, sometimes @5:30 pm I feel like I don’t have energy to tweet another edition…
Once the time hits 6 pm my body just awakes to the fact that I have an assignment I must deliver.
…A few hours later I am smiling from ear to ear because of the feedback I would have gotten from the readers.
So my final word to you is: YOUR LIFE WOULD TAKE A NEW TURN IF YOU DISCOVER YOUR PURPOSE AND BEGIN TO RUN WITH A VISION.
You will have so much to do overtime that you won’t even have the time to dwell on the past.
However it’s only those who are genuinely born again that can discover their purpose or receive a vision from God.
If u will like to give your life to Christ repeat this prayer after me: Lord Jesus I confess my sins and accept you as my Lord.
Thank you Jesus for saving me, now I know that I am born again. Congratulations.

He talked about how our trials are wrapped into a wrapping sheet for us to be able to unrap and see what lies in there. You cannot really tell how beautiful or priceless a gift is until you take off the wrapping sheet. He also stressed on the need for survivors to allow the past go and move on with their life, and look ahead to behold and enjoy the beautiful gift that lies inside the wrapping sheet.
